The full undercoat removal visit, for double coated dogs that shed. Dead undercoat sits against the skin, traps heat and blocks airflow. Brushing at home reaches the top of the coat and leaves the layer underneath in place. This visit takes that layer out. Includes: - Bath with shampoo matched to the coat and skin - Full undercoat removal - Professional dry, to the skin rather than the surface - Nail trim - Ear cleaning This is the visit for Golden Retrievers, Labradors, German Shepherds, Huskies, Corgis and Bernese Mountain Dogs. Most double coated dogs do best on this every four to six weeks. From $65, priced by size. Add $15 for doodles and heavy coats. Final quote after a coat check on arrival. Plan for 1.5 to 2 hours from drop-off to pickup. Double coats take the full time. We'll give you a realistic pickup time at drop-off, after we see the coat. A $35 deposit is collected when you book and is applied to your total. The balance is paid in store. Please give us 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Later than that, or a missed appointment, and the $35 deposit is not refunded. If your dog just needs to be clean, a Quick Bath starts at $35. For a professional dry without de-shedding, Bath & Blow Dry starts at $40. We are groomers, not veterinarians. If we see something that needs a vet's attention, we tell you.
